Yow’s Hunting Camps Scholarship Program

Why We Offer Scholarships

At Yow’s Hunting Camps, we believe the outdoors should be welcoming, accessible, and life-changing.

Camp is more than learning how to shoot, call elk, or read the wind. It is about:

  • Building confidence

  • Developing real, hands-on skills

  • Finding mentorship and community

  • Creating lifelong connections in the outdoors

  • Empowering women and youth to step into spaces that may feel intimidating at first

What the Scholarship Covers

Selected recipients receive:

  • Full camp registration

  • Access to instructors and hands-on learning

  • All camp programming included in standard admission

Our goal is simple: If camp is meaningful to you and finances are the barrier, we want to help.

Who Should Apply

We encourage applications from:

  • Women who are new to hunting or building confidence in the outdoors

  • Youth eager to learn foundational skills

  • Individuals who are passionate but facing financial hardship

  • Those who want to grow, learn, and become part of a supportive outdoor community

If attending camp would allow you (or your child) to do something you otherwise could not, we invite you to apply.

The Impact

When you attend camp through a scholarship, you are not just a recipient — you are part of a cycle of empowerment.

Women support women.
Community supports youth.
The outdoors becomes stronger and more inclusive.

Applications are reviewed thoughtfully and confidentially.

Scholarships are awarded based on available funds and alignment with the mission of Yow’s Hunting Camps.

Deadline for scholarship submission is 90 days prior to camp. Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than 60 days prior to camp start date.
