Dry Creek Ranch 

Nestled in beautiful Central Oregon between La Pine and Silver Lake, Dry Creek Ranch, located in Fort Rock, is the home to the Oregon based camps. Home of founders, Candy & Randy Yow, the ranch offers unique advantages and terrain for classes, demonstrations and onsite camping. Having everything on one property allows campers to focus on being present and enjoying the long weekend.

Ranges

Onsite ranges include shotgun, archery, pistol, rifle and muzzleloader. These ranges have been curated to best suit each firearm and are located across the property. Campers can reach the ranges via a short hike, UTV ride or pickup shuttle ride.

Terrain 

The property features high desert landscape, typical to Central Oregon. During summer months you can expect it to be dry and arid with the high temperatures in the mid to high 80’s daily. Situated at over 4000′ elevation, the evenings can be cool and mornings brisk.

Connectivity

Phone service is extremely limited at the ranch. Some carriers can be reached from the top of the property or closer to town. We have limited wi-fi access available on an as needed basis for texting. You will not have service for streaming, video calls, etc. while at Dry Creek Ranch.

Dry Camping

If you’ve never heard of dry camping, it’s camping without services. There is not power, water or sewer hookups available while at the ranch. We have people stay in tents, trailers, or car camp. Showers are available onsite and Porta-Ports are located throughout the facility. If preferred, the nearest hotels are located in La Pine, OR, rough 35 minutes away.

Getting Here

Located on Hwy 31 between La Pine and Silver Lake, you will take Hwy 97 to the Hwy 31 Junction and head east on Hwy 31 to 74752 OR-31.

The nearest airport is the Redmond airport (RDM) located approximately 1.5 hours away.
